Department Profile

     The Department of Chemistry is established in the year 2003. The Department of Chemistry is one of the largest departments of campus. Department has been engaged in graduate teaching, recently it has started Soil & Water Testing Course. Now, B.Sc. Chemistry course is successfully flourishing the need of industries by availing with sound subject knowledge. It has well equipped laboratories. It has organized National Seminar on Scope In Interdisciplinary Science (SIS-2017, 25th January 2017).

Activities

    The National level Seminar, Skill enhancement Courses, Soil & Water Testing Course, Liquid Waste Management (Equalization) Tank, Science exhibitions, Quiz competitions, Seminar , PPT presentation, Guest lectures, and study Tour, Parents Teacher Meeting every year, As a part of Continuous Internal evaluation under activity based test the department conducts surprise test and home assignment . Department Conducts lectures for the preparation of Competitive Examination like NET, SET, and GATE, IIT-JAM in Chemistry every year. In addition to this the faculties of the departments are felicitated for special achievements.
