(Meaning: They give shade to others standing in heat of sunlight, they beat fruits for benefit of others trees are like virtuous.)
      The Department of Botany, established in 2003, is one of the leading Departments of Baburao Patil College of Arts and Science,Angar in the field of teaching and research in plant sciences. Since its establishment, the Department was recognized for teaching and research in the areas of Ethnobotany, Mycology, Plant Pathology and Experimental Botany. Department has tradition of 100% result in University Examination. The Department introduced a Skill-based course on “Mushroom Cultivation”. Department is well qualified staff which is active in teaching and research.
