Department Profile


     The department of Geology, established in 2003, is one of the departments in Baburao Patil College of arts and science, Angar. The department leading towards the knowledge of field studies in Geology and Earth sciences. Science 2010 department has good academic record faculty members are engaged in teaching and research work. Faculty of the department is working on different bodies of college as well as university. Department has traditional result of 100% at B.Sc.II. in university examinations. Faculty members of Geology department participated in conferences, seminars and workshops at different level. Department runs Bridge course as well as Remedial teaching for students.
